Tooth clutches

Tooth clutches are of increasing importance in modern technical use. The positive locking of the tooting means that high torques are transmitted with very compact unit dimensions.

Another advantage is complete drive disconnection without any idle torque.

Their application ranges from speed range switching in machine tools to drive connections in heavy systems. Newly developed backlash-free tooth clutches enable the positioning of rotary tables, tool turrets, inking rollers and other machine parts via the NC control.
